I’ve got two spots at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Edinburgh Half Marathon to give away – that’s one for you and one for a friend. If you want one – put your name in the comments or tweet me ‘I want to win’ and a winner will be chosen at random next week.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Edinburgh Half Marathon is back on Sunday 14 April 2013. After the success of the inaugural 2012 Rock ‘n’ Roll Edinburgh Half Marathon, which attracted 5,000 runners from around the globe, the race is back and promising an event that runners will never forget.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, which originated in San Diego, is a combination of live music and running that sees bands and DJs performing at each mile point along the race route, and a celebratory finish line concert.

Event director, Shannon Davis, said: “The inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll Edinburgh Half Marathon was a huge success and we’re looking forward to returning to Edinburgh bigger and better in 2013. We expect to attract around 7,000 runners this year with many travelling from all over the world to enjoy the festival like atmosphere and the exciting race route which offers stunning views of the city.”

Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon events attract both competitive runners and people who are looking to have fun while getting fit, making it a great event to take part in whether you’re looking to achieve a new personal best or just want to get dressed up as your favourite rock icon to experience the festival like atmosphere of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Edinburgh Half Marathon.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll race route takes in the views of Edinburgh.
