Me and LizMy friend Liz Goodchild is all about setting big, scary-ass goals and setting off in their direction. She does this in her own life and helps others do it through her work as a life coach.

Liz asked me if she could interview me for a series of interviews she does on her blog. Interview is a bit of a scary word but what I heard is ‘Can I tape one of our chats?’ which sounds much less intimidating. If you listen to the interview  (link below) you’ll hear a typical conversation between the two of us (though they’re not usually quite so much about me). Liz is interested in people, that’s why she does the work she does.

I know that not everyone is lucky enough to have friends and family who are supportive of their goals. Some people think that if you’re feeling stuck, frustrated or unhappy with your life – that’s just how it is. But that’s not the way it has to be. Spend five minutes talking with someone like Liz and you’re realise there is another way.

This is a picture of me and Liz finishing the Frankfurt Marathon holding hands as we cross the finish line. I though it was appropriate – it sums up our friendship and what she does.
