Running Groups FAQs
Where do we meet?
Meet by the park gates nearest to Lidl on Severn Sisters Road

What should I wear?
Come in whatever you’re comfortable in. All I ask is that you leave your headphones at home. Some people like to run with music but you’ll need to be able to hear me while you’re running and it’s more friendly for running in a group to be able to chat to each other.
Unfortunately not. I run with a small running back pack and I’m happy to carry small items like your keys or purse. If you plan to bring more than this with you I’d suggest getting a small running backpack that you’re comfortable running with.If you need an inhaler, please make sure you bring this with you and keep it on you.
Trains are delayed, childcare falls through, you catch a cold – these things happen. If for any reason you can’t make it to a session, just let me know – preferably before 7pm so that we don’t wait around for you.
I don’t issue refunds for sessions you haven’t been able to attend as you’ve signed up for the course as a whole and I don’t take new members once the group has started.
If I have to cancel a session because I’m ill, I will either schedule another or issue you a refund proportional to the number of cancelled sessions.
We run every week, even if it’s raining. I’ve had to cancel and reschedule a session in the past but this has been due to very high winds when it would be unsafe to run with falling branches. If I have to cancel a session I will email you in advance. I’ve never cancelled a session because of rain.
