30 Min Home Cardio Workout for Runners

Thanks to everyone who has tried out last week’s Strength Exercises for Runners Workout. I’m glad you’re finding it useful. This week I’ve created a 30 min home cardio workout for runners.

I know runners are finding it difficult and stressful to get out for a run right now. But many of us still want to do something to boost or build our fitness for running. So I’ve put together a 30 minute workout to help you do just that.

It’s an ideal workout if you’re just getting into running and want to do something to build your fitness alongside running, or if you want to get your fitness up before you start a 0-5k programme.

Its two main selling points:  doesn’t require any equipment and it doesn’t involve any burpees. But more than that, it will work on some of the key skills for running – your agility, balance and co-ordination and make you get your heart rate up for half an hour.

I don’t believe that you need to be collapsing in a heap at the end of a workout for it to be effective So go at your own pace and there are harder and easier options given throughout.

The 30 min home cardio workout for runners is on YouTube and below (subscribe to my channel and I’ll know that you’d like to see me create more of this sort of stuff).

If you’ve found this video useful and you’d like to buy me a virtual coffee, you can do that here.
