20 Minute Upper Body Workout for Runners

As runners we tend to focus on our legs and increasing leg strength, but overlook the importance of a strong upper body. That’s why I’ve created this 20 Minute Upper Body Workout for Runners.

A strong upper body will help you maintain good running form when you get tired. A strong rear arm drive help boost your stride and power you up hills.

This 20 minute upper body workout can help address weaknesses you might have. The legs do get involved too for some exercises but are mainly there to raise your heart rate and help you get a sweat on.

You can do this workout without equipment or add in a weight, a bottle or even a cushion. I’ll show you how.

It’s a good way to give your legs a rest and work on your upper body and core.
